| I've been a vegetarian for 5 years now (just... don't make me think about what's in Feminol), and in that time I've worked a lot of different soy products into my daily meals. Lately though, after hearing tell of the "mild estrogenic effects" that soy is being fingered with, I'm wondering if that could interfere with E & F effectiveness. That is, if they're both competing for the same estrogen receptor sites, am I slowing my progress down by having such a high-soy diet? |

> if they're both competing for the same estrogen receptor sites, am I slowing my progress down by having such a high-soy diet? They are not competing. It is fine to add soy. If you get to a point where there is more estrogen than your body can use at any given moment, any excess intake will not be final converted into estrogen, regardless of its source. The problems come when using drug estrogens, which can easily force the body to overload creating potential damage to vital organs. |
