| At the same time I started on my regimen, two month ago, I also started on a low carb diet. So cause and effect can get conflicted. My question is: Is there any possibility that E+F+A+CC may have caused an increase in my blood pressure, from 128 to 150. My weight loss has been from 230 down to 216. My goal is to stabilize at 180, but I've got to find out what caused my blood pressure to go up and get this back under control. |

> I've got to find out what caused my blood pressure to go up and get this back under control. What all medications are you on? What other herbal or vitamin things are you taking/using? Have stress levels or events in your life changed recently? . -- "Helping you on your journey toward becoming a whole person" http://www.myevanesce.com |

This is really confusing to me, because I had expected to see a slight drop in my blood pressure reflecting my weight loss. There has been no increase in stress. In fact, I've just come off 3-weeks of vacation during the holidays. I'm quite well rested and feeling better, with the weight loss, than I have in quite some time. I have been taking Pravastatin Sodium for a number of years. Reading about it just now, it seems this may have been prescribed for cholesterol, but my latest biannual showed this to be very good. I'll have to remember to ask why I'm still on this drug. I have also been taking, for a number of years, Hyzaar, for my blood pressure. This was never really high - low 130's - but the doc has just added Amlodipine with the recent rise in my BP. I had previously been taking this early last year, but when my BP had dropped into the low 120's, had taken me off. I've only been taking it for two days now and my BP is back down to the low 140's. But the only life changes have been my diet and the hormones. Oh, yes. I'm also taking a multi-vitamin, potassium and vitamin D. I am also taking all the supplements offered on your web site; no others. |

First and most important, I am not your doctor, and you need to have a serious in-depth discussion with your doctor about what all you are being prescribed, and why. I am very frustrated by and about doctors who prescribe multiple medications for the same ailment/symptom. They are guessing, and in terms a technician uses, they are "throwing parts at your engine". We found, with my spouse and several friends, that the simple act of going to the doctor's office to have blood pressure tested, was raising blood pressure levels. (Yes -- sometimes it was my driving, which raised her blood pressure :::grin:::) We bought a home-test blood pressure monitor/meter from Walgreen's, so that the real blood pressure numbers could be monitored without the trip to the doctor These are not expensive. . -- "Helping you on your journey toward becoming a whole person" http://www.myevanesce.com |

| Try drinking more water even if you think you are drinking enough. Doing so has been shown to help many others with B.P. issues. |

To really confirm whether the products are the problem, stop taking the Evanesce for one week... ..and monitor your blood pressure during that period. . -- "Helping you on your journey toward becoming a whole person" http://www.myevanesce.com |

This is a followup. But first, what does the red check mark inside the folder mean? OK, I did visit my doctor. I took myself off of E, F, A and CC about a week prior. The doctor wanted, and I followed her suggestion, for me to stop everything for one week. I've just concluded this and I've detoxed my body I had already come to the conclusion that I was probably having an adverse reaction to one of my blood pressure meds ( I had just started taking Amlodipine in combination with Hyzaar). Today, I am still thinking that this was the problem. I have been taking Hyzaar for years with no problem. I'll take suggestions, but my plan is to start back with 2 AndoEase and 2 Calm Companion per day, take my blood pressure daily and see what happens. In about a week I'll start with a reduced dose, maybe just 2 per day, of Feminol. Oh, yea. My BP is mostly back down to the low - mid 130's. Still just a bit higher than I would like, but OK and I think it will continue to improve. GA |

My doctor told me that the best way for me to lower and control my blood pressure is to lose 20-30 pounds ... permanently. Easier said than done ... What do I do, stop eating ... stop living?!? Wish me luck!!! |

Erica...on April 1st, 2009, I stood 6' tall and weighed a decidedly unfeminine 212 pounds. Male gut, puffy face, and "moobies"...I had only one person to blame for this and that person was me. A Super Big Gulp of Mountain Dew per day, large portions at meals plus seconds, and late night raids to the cookie jar were the main culprits. I had already made up my mind to transition m2F months earlier and realized I needed to take better care of myself. I got a physical which showed no major warnings other than a lecture on diet from my physician. Blood was good and to me it was all systems go...I immediately cut back to eating healthy foods, much smaller portions at meal time, snacking on grapes, oranges, apples, nuts, fresh green veggies. A breakfast used to be a glass of juice, a huge bowl of sweetened cereal or two, maybe a donut, plus milk. Lunch would be soup and a sandwich with pickles and chips...dinner would be say two burgers or three hot dogs, french fries, salads, beans, etc, followed by dessert of pie or ice cream and cake, etc. Don't forget the 44oz Mt. Dew! Midnight might mean a dozen cookies and another huge glass of milk! I begin my day now with a banana and fresh squeezed juice, plus a glass of water to wash down the herbals...I'll sip cold water until lunch, which usually consists of a slice or two of thin turkey breast, with some grapes and a slice of cheese. Again, more water...as the day wears on, I might slice up an apple or chew on some nuts and grapes with more water...dinner is very civil with small portions of anything, plus fresh steamed veggies like broccoli or cauliflower, etc. A small piece of chocolate might be dessert if I even go that route...now if I ever feel the urge to eat snacks, I grab a few grapes and some water. I find water crushes the hunger craving like no other... I weighed in at 186 today, 10 months after I started this...I know there is room to lose another 5-10 pounds and this will get done over the next 6-10 months...calorie intake is well below 2000 per day now and I never feel hungry anymore... In a nutshell, you must define "living" and what is most important to you...to me, living is about feeling and looking my best and surprisingly it has become rather easy to do...the more you lose, the better you feel, and the better you feel, the more you want to lose! Plus, after 3 full months on the Evanesce program, I can see results in tapered/indented waist and real curves down low...moobies have been replaced by true femme shaped breasts, albeit small, but shaped perfectly! Erica (and others), if I can do it, so can you! Traci |

Congratulations! If you can do it, perhaps I can too. I'm 6'2" and about 220 pounds. I'm big, but not a giant. I'm also old ... 65 years old. Since last March I'm down from 235 to about 220. My ideal weight is about 180 to 195. I would love to just get back below 200 pounds, but lose the weight from the right places, if you know what I mean. It has taken me over two years on E&F to get to where I am today (A+ cup ... another inch and I'll be B cup) and it would be just my luck to lose it there first. I would much rather lose it from off my waist, gut and midriff, where I really need to lose it ... and NOT from my boobs. I used to run 50 miles a week before my heart problems last year. Now I walk six days a week instead ... about 25 or 30 miles ... at a brisk pace. Needless to say, that burns much fewer calories than running used to, so I've had to really cut back on my caloric intake. And I have cut back, but obviously, not enough. Oh well, it took me a long time to put on all that weight, so it will no doubt take me just as long to slowly work it off. But I will give it my best shot. My life depends on it. |

Erica...I am 59...really, it's just a matter of mind over matter...drink more water and limit your portions....eat more frequently, but snack sizes...raw veggies, fruits and such when the "hunger" kicks inand really, take a glass of water in lieu of food...after a short period of time, you body will adjust to that schedule and you'll not wish to eat big anymore...just say "no"! Make a plan and work your plan...you can do it! My weight loss has has come at the right places..."moobies" did shrink, but Dianna's program has taken body fats and redistributed them to the right places and there is a definite femme shape to all instead of that ghastly male overhang up top, in the middle, and down low...
