I am not sure where I fit on the Cross-Dresser / Transsexual classification. I have been on 6E, 4F, 2A, & 2CC for 12 weeks. So I am obviously on the continum somewhere. Time will tell where I end up at. Dianna, I confess that I got a little impatient waiting for my T levels to drop so I have upped my AE up to 6 for the last month. I am still taking the same levels on everything else. Since I started have found a visually noticable shaping up of my breasts. They are noticible to me. I measure once a month and I am starting to see small results on the tape now. I am married with 2 kids. I love my wife. I love my family. I don't know exactly how to handle the discussion with my family. I know it is coming because I saw a puzzled look on my wifes face yesterday when she looked at my chest. I notice when I am laying down to sleep on my side that I really have cleavage. It wasn't there when I started. My upper body is definitely changing. There is a definite "jiggle" to my breasts. I find myself staring in the mirror in amazement that this is really working. I also notice a big "crease" under my breasts. The other day I was pulling weeds from my garden. When I came inside the house to clean up I glanced at the mirror. I couldn't help but notice a big red line running from side to side where my little bit of breast had folded over my tummy. Wow! I really did not think that I could have breasts. This is amazing. Now I have got to get my big tummy under control. Can I diet and exercise and still reasonably expect to keep my growth continuing? I want to lose weight and don't want to deter the growth process. I am 39 years old. 5'6" and 198lbs. A little on the chunky side. I appreciate any reccommendations from you and the "family." Thanks. > I am not sure where I fit on the Cross-Dresser / Transsexual classification. Many of the long-time leaders/activists in the TG/TS community, hold the belief that the only difference between crossdressers and transsexuals, is opportunity. We all know far too many "no -- I will NEVER transition" people, who are today post-op TSs. > I confess that I got a little impatient waiting for my T levels to drop so I have upped my AE up to 6 for the last month. > I am still taking the same levels on everything else. This actually, is not unusual -- many people have gone to six AndroEase daily, to help their testosterone levels to reduce. Once physical changes begin, such as you talk about here, you might try going back to lower dosages. (Trying to help you to save some money, ya know?!) > I don't know exactly how to handle the discussion with my family. > I know it is coming because I saw a puzzled look on my wifes face yesterday when she looked at my chest. The *family* does not need to have a discussion of any kind about what you are doing. AT some point, your spouse will ask, and that is not permission to just spill your guts to her. Do NOT overwhelm her with information. You are a LONG way from being ready to talk about this, with any other family member. As much as you want to, do NOT. > Can I diet and exercise and still reasonably expect to keep my growth continuing? > I want to lose weight and don't want to deter the growth process. If you know you need to lose weight, start the diet and exercise program, NOW. The exercise portion of this, is crucial to weight loss. The growth will continue, but possibly at a slower rate for a period of time... You will need to see how your unique body responds. . -- "Helping you on your journey toward becoming a whole person" http://www.myevanesce.com |

I want to echo what Dianna has said here. For everyones benefit, there is only one time-tested and proven weight loss regimen that actually works. There are only five rules to it. Write them down and read them to yourself every day until you have them memorized - and keep them in mind every day... Rule #1) Get enough exercise - a hour long walk at a brisk pace every day will do that. It also does wonders for your spirit. Rule #2) Eat healthy - its important to count calories, but don't forget to make the calories count... Think about it... Rule #3) Drink enough water - 2 liters (or more) of filtered, unflavored water every day. Rule #4) Get enough sleep - seven to nine hours every night. Rule #5) Stick to it... Every day. Its a lot easier once it becomes routine... Your routine... > Now I have got to get my big tummy under control. Walking and or/cycling are excellent for ruducing your tummy. You must walk at a pace that works up a sweat though - as well as keep the pedals moving at a pace that works up a sweat. A casual stroll will not give you that same results you can get if your are working up a sweat. Likewise, coasting on a bicycle will not give you the same results you can get if you are really thumping those pedals. One of the many things I have found that I enjoy very much since I started is parcourses. You can find parcourses are in parks scattered throughout the country. You may have one available near you. I have one that is really close to my home, another that is reasonably close to my workplace, and a third not too far away from work. The one near my work place is my favorite of the three. Its one of the older timber built parcourses. http:/ > Can I diet and exercise and still reasonably expect to keep my growth continuing? Absolutely! I've been doing that since I started three and a half years ago. My diet and exercise regimen has not had any detering effects on my feminization. If anything it has helped. -- The mind is like a parachute - it only works when it’s open. |

Just the basics you listed. It really is true, and the results are amazing ! -- Argue for your limitations and sure enough they're yours. -Richard Bach |

> I just watched my friend lose 125 pounds over the > past several months and all i can say is WOW. Wow! thats really a lot! I don't know what you mean by "the past several months" but it is important to know. Losing weight too fast can be an indication of a medical problem. If we are talking about 12 months or so, well then thats great. I don't remember how long it took me to reach that 100 pound mile stone, but I do know it took over a year. But I did do it - and I did it by simply following those five basic rules... The fifth one is the hardest to follow though. :o) -- The mind is like a parachute - it only works when it’s open. |

And yes I believe it is over 13 months, but he is doing exceptionally well in sticking to the plan. -- Argue for your limitations and sure enough they're yours. -Richard Bach |

| I lost 105 lbs doing the five steps. As a trainer, there are no packages you can buy that will have the same results. These 5 steps help you lose weight, get stronger, and keep your whole body healthy. No tricks or gadgets will ever do that. |
